Kal Valley Industrial Cleaning understands what it means to provide a service. Our clients expect working with us to be better, easier, faster, and more economical than doing the job themselves. And, it is !
We begin with consultation, to help determine how we can best meet your needs. This includes planning what should be done, the best way to do it, coordinating the timing and quoting the cost.
We are fully staffed and equipped to provide complete services, including many different types of cleaning ( outlined on these pages) and waste disposal. Kal Valley Industrial Cleaning can haul the waste and arrange for disposal sites, if necessary.
You will also get comprehensive follow-up, after the initial service. There'll be recommendations on preventive maintenance, a plan for future cleaning-all from your single source: Kal Valley Industrial Cleaning.
Maintenance:
No one likes the downtime, the damage to equipment or property, and the clean-up costs associated with a build-up of sediment, corrosives, or other waste materials.
We've helped many clients avoid these problems with a Preventive Maintenance Program. Custom-designed to your own needs, it's a great way to save time, money, and headaches!
Pipe Cleaning:
High Pressure water blast cleaning is an excellent technique for most pipes and tubes from 3/4" to 6 ft. I.D.
Using controller water pressures (up to 40,000 p.s.i) this method removes deposits from boiler blow-down lines, set up glue in product lines, and hard scales such as calcium, lime or other minerals found in pipes and tubes.
Tank Cleaning:
This is a specialized area of industrial cleaning which our personnel are fully trained and experienced in cleaning above- and below- ground tanks of all sizes.
Most work is performed without entering a tank, using special equipment designed for that purpose. If actual entry is necessary, our vessel entry procedures assure that all safety precautions are carefully followed. (NOTE: A Material Safety Data Sheet is required for all tank cleaning.)
Sand Blasting:
Sand Blasting is most often used to prepare a surface for painting, relining, or epoxy coating.
Using the finest equipment available, we are capable of removing rust or other corrosives to a near-white metal finish, thereby creating an excellent bonding surface.
Treatment Plants:
High pressure water blasting, and vacuuming equipment, are employed in these facilities to remove hardened build-up in reactors, digesters, clarifiers, heat exchangers, condensers and sludge lines.
Paper Mills:
Kal Valley Industrial Cleaning, Inc. works closely with various area paper mills to develop new methods for suction and couch roll cleaning, in or out of a machine, to reduce downtime. Services include cleaning heat exchangers, chiller condensers, boiler tubes, evaporators, fiberizers, liquor lines, clay slurry tanks, and coating equipment.
Municipalities:
We provide several important services to meet the special needs of municipalities. We are fully prepared to cleaning of waste water collection systems, including storm and sanitary sewers, catch basins, lift stations, wet wells, culverts and all components of water treatment plants.
We use all standard methods of testing and inspection to map systems and identify any existing problems. Root removal and by- pass pumping are among our standard services.
Waste Removal:
Due to an increase awareness of the potential dangers involved, today's laws insist on proper handling of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. Kal Valley Industrial Cleaning can handle chemical analysis, collection, and transportation to a safe disposal site.
TV Inspection:
Sewer televising is the quickest and most reliable way to find broken pipes, obstructions, sewer leads. The mini-camera lets us video inspect from 3î to 12î sewers and pipes.
CO2 / Dry Ice Blasting:
Dry Ice blasting is an effective cleaning method that uses high-velocity dry ice pelletes to clean surfaces with out damaging equipment. Dry Ice removes the need of powerful cleaning agents such as: trichlorethane, methylene choloride, perchlorethane, orthodichlorobenzene, and caustic solutions.
Soda Blasting:
Soda blasting is an environmentally friendlier way of removing paint, dirt, coatings and other surface contaminants that does not cause damage to the surfaces being cleaned. The action of the sodium bicarbonate used does not cause heat build-up, sparks, or abrasion to substrata. Sodium bicarbonate is also water soluble and in most cases it can be disposed of through conventional drainage systems. The only material that needs to be disposed of is the contaminant removed which can be separated by dissolving the blast media in water and the use of a filter or centrifuge to separate the contaminant from the solution.
